These organizations did not succeed in realizing their dreams, and were subject to heavy losses, the most prominent of which was the execution of the moharaba punishment in one of their members, in addition to the arrest of a number of those involved in spreading rumors and those involved in stirring up strife. Those terrorist plans.

Spark of hatred

With the beginning of the establishment of the Entertainment Authority in the Kingdom in May 2016, this sector, which occupies an essential part of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, has become an aim to improve the lifestyle of citizens, diversify sources of income, and reduce dependence on oil as a major source of state resources, and given that the establishment of the entertainment industry will help diversify sources of income The Kingdom, as the development of tourism and entertainment locally will keep about 22 billion dollars in the country from the funds that citizens spend abroad, and with the development of the entertainment sector in the Kingdom since the establishment of the Commission and at an accelerated pace that made the Kingdom the focus of attention of international and regional entertainment companies, as the Commission concluded a number of agreements to establish Projects at the level of the Kingdom as a whole, accompanied by vigorous government efforts to advance the sector, at the forefront of which is the establishment of the Entertainment Company for Development and Investment, the entertainment arm of the Public Investment Fund, with a capital of ten billion riyals, to invest in entertainment activities and attract international partners, in addition to the Kingdom’s intention to establish an investment fund with capital 440 million riyals for about 600 medium and small projects to support and stimulate Saudi investment in the entertainment sector, with the launch of the quality program Hayat 2020, which is part of the programs to achieve the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, which aims to include Saudi cities on the list of the best cities to live in in the world and transform the Kingdom into a global tourist destination throughout the year by organizing and reviving seasonal events and making it among the first ten entertainment destinations in the world and among The first four at the level of Asia.

Soft war

After this shock and those transformations, the tongue of the digital groups began as if to say: “I found it!” Hence, it decided to use the tools of soft warfare to implement its satanic plans, including resorting to temptation and seduction, and working on the goal of dismantling to strike the internal cohesion of society, given that working to dismantle society and create chaos within it is more useful. And cheaper than confrontation from abroad, and deliberately in its strategy based on the use of soft war tools such as deception by taking advantage of the gullible and teenagers, and the method of questioning the Kingdom’s vision of the target of entertainment by spreading rumors, lies and false fatwas, and working to drag the young generation into society with religious tendencies Extremists, preparing them by calling for jihad and stopping what they called vulgarity and moral corruption, classifying young people participating in entertainment events as outlaws and deviants and excommunicating some religious symbols, working to kill the rays and hope in the hearts and theorizing on the basis of the thought of Western culture, belittling the current of literature, art and culture in the Kingdom, and spreading rumors That many Muslims have slackened from the goals of jihad and the denial of evil, in addition to working to weaken the will of Allah. To young people, presenting a dark picture of the future of the country and people’s frustration, working to create a pessimistic outlook and a rift between people, to separate religion and the state, to question the leadership, while showing the youth a vague and dark future horizon, and to try to shape the ability of the security men to maintain the internal security of the homeland and the weakness of security Societal, as well as working hard to find sectarian differences among Muslims, while working to create an environment that incubates the gesture, disrupting the vitality of the elite members of the creative community of youth and activists, and expanding the creation of hundreds of sub-sites on the fake Internet to spread subversive ideas, and investing in propaganda weapons and subsidized media relations. From external organizations that support subversive ideology and harbor hidden hostility to the Kingdom.

Targeting entertainment

In their soft war strategy, the terrorist organizations focused on the target of entertainment in the Kingdom on three main pillars: the religious heritage of society, the cultural and tribal heritage of society, questioning the strength of the security apparatus in the Kingdom, and initially resorted to using seduction mechanisms, including seducing some of the targeted segments of society. Through unofficial – foreign – media, selling them their rosy dreams, especially some groups – extremists, or teenagers – and spreading some false rumors that raise problems and dismantle society and the family, considering the family as the last refuge for a person, and the space within which society achieves the continuity of identity and the value system. The organizations focused on achieving one main goal, which is to attack the privacy of society and work to dismantle it, stir up chaos, and cast doubt on the goal of the vision, with the aim of making weak souls in the Kingdom lose any privacy and any value system and become a productive and consuming machine for the rumors it broadcasts, and use those targeted audiences to achieve their satanic goals. But in the end, she failed to achieve her dreams for several reasons, the most important of which is the strength of the cohesion of Saudi society, the high rate of education in the Kingdom and the strength of adherence to religious teachings, in addition to the strength of Saudi security, and the Kingdom’s achievement of global levels in security strength.

Powerful device

The security apparatus of the Ministry of Interior in the Kingdom proved its strength in confronting foreign terrorist organizations and controlling the security situation in all community forums, as it succeeded in apprehending one of the perpetrators after he attempted to carry out a terrorist attack armed with a sharp instrument on one of the performance teams participating in the Riyadh season, and stabbed members of the band and a security guard. Heavy penalties

In other incidents, the Public Prosecution announced that it had monitored accounts on social media that were producing and promoting unfounded rumors related to events, and the Public Prosecution confirmed in its statement on these cases that this was coordinated by external hostile parties, which were responsible for the majority of the monitored posts. Noting that people who participated in spreading these rumors from inside the Kingdom have been summoned, and work is underway to complete the criminal procedures against them.

In its statement, the Public Prosecution confirmed that these actions entail severe penalties of up to five years in prison and a fine of three million riyals, and the confiscation of used devices and tools, stressing that these penalties apply to everyone who prepared, sent or stored through the information network, and includes everyone who incited, assisted or It was agreed that this crime was committed. The Public Prosecution also stressed that spreading rumors and lies is one of the major crimes that require arrest, especially those that originate from hostile parties run from abroad.

In its statement, the Public Prosecution called on everyone to take information from its official sources and not to be carried away by rumors or participate in spreading them, and to use and benefit from social media, stressing that it will not tolerate anyone who is found to have transgressed in such activities to obtain the maximum penalties prescribed by law and order.

Deny the rumors

Turki Al-Sheikh, advisor at the Royal Court and head of the General Authority for Entertainment, revealed that a campaign led by parties outside the Kingdom had been monitored on social media, aimed at distorting the “Riyadh season” by spreading rumors and fabricated stories, coinciding with the postponement of one of the events due to weather conditions. And he indicated, during his speech to his followers via the “Twitter audio spaces”, that a content analysis team concluded that the images that were used in allegations of harassment with a number of offensive hashtags were false to young people from different parts of the Kingdom, some of whom were not originally at the site of the event.

And the Entertainment Authority continued to control violators, clarify facts and deny rumors, and among those statements was what the General Authority announced through its official Twitter account, in which it announced that it would open an immediate investigation regarding the first Jeddah concerts, and stated in its statement: The General Authority for Entertainment opened an immediate investigation into video clips that were circulated in Social networking sites for one of the events in the city of Jeddah, adding: According to the information that the Authority found in its follow-up of the matter, the event held in violation of the legal procedures and regulations in force, and it was not licensed by the Authority, and it was originally a license to hold another event whose contractor took advantage of the Authority’s approval to extend its residence to The date of Shawwal 11, 1440 AH, for committing these grave and unacceptable violations.

Security warns

And the Public Security website of the Ministry of Interior continued its statements about the control of the security authorities concerned with Public Security, which monitored a number of violations of the regulation for preserving public decency, at the opening of the Riyadh season, and continued to deal with the perpetrators, and warned Public Security against harming the lives of others by misusing mobile phones in photography. And that this leads to penalties of fines or imprisonment of up to one year, according to the fourth paragraph of Article Three of the Anti-Information Crimes Law, stressing that the security authorities will not tolerate any violations and will apply the regular procedures and penalties established against everyone who violates them.
